Time to talk about myself as if I was a stranger
Karim Tharani has a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Musical Theatre. While in school, he had the opportunity to study vocal technique with Jennifer Roderer who has been performing at the Metropolitan Opera for 6 years. He also had the opportunity to learn voice technique from NYU coach and trained Rachel MacKenzie. He was in the ensemble for Ursus America a M.F.A project at Columbia University. He has taken part in many cabarets where he had the roles of Aladdin from Aladdin The Musical, Batboy from Batboy The Musical, Jack from Into The Woods, Evan from Dear Evan. He had the role of Merrimen and Lane in The Importance of Being Ernest. He also had the role of Lucas in 10 Ways to Survive Life in Quarantine. He wants to be a trailblazer for aspiring South Asian actors as he did not have the opportunity to see actors that could represent in the arts.
