A peculiar unicorn in the making, maybe?

I was born in Texas — but life had a lot more in store for me than a single home. Most of my childhood was spent in a number of cities, including Dubai, Kampala, and Pune. Finally, for high school, I ended up in the city that never sleeps, and one of the musical theatre capitals of the world: New York City. I joined the band, choir, and several stage productions. When I saw the Broadway production of "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical," it gave me the feeling I had long chased: I was home. Melissa Benoist’s performance made me realize what I was missing, and her stage presence ignited within me a true passion for acting. I soon created my own Musical Theatre major at Hunter College to help me expand my skills further… and the rest is history!
